The Albert Gallatin Area School District’s End of Year Parent-Teacher Conference Day has been scheduled for the afternoon of Thursday, April 6, 2023.  There will be an early dismissal for ALL students in grades K-12.
 
        Dismissal will be as follows:

    Middle Schools                                                11:45 AM
                        Elementary Schools                                        12:30 PM

George J. Plava Elementary is part of theAlbert Gallatin Area School District in southwestern Pennsylvania in Fayette County. We are located 7 miles west of Uniontown, PA in the village of McClellandtown, German Township. The southern end of the Albert Gallatin School District borders West Virginia. Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is located approximately 50 miles north, and Morgantown, West Virginia is located approximately 20 miles to the south. Our district is a large, rural area consisting of 144 square miles. Our elementary school houses kindergarten through fifth grade students, provides modern, safe facilities and an excellent learning environment. Our School has a Library and a Computer Media Center containing at least 20+ personal computers. Each classroom has a student computer station with Internet access. Closed circuit television systems are also available for instructional use. Our students students receive instruction from five itinerant instructors in the subjects of Art, Computer Literacy, Library Sciences, Physical Education and Music.
