Welcome to Albert Gallatin Area School District!
The Albert Gallatin School District is located in Southwestern Pennsylvania. It spans 142 miles of rural territory. Our district encompasses the boroughs of Masontown, Fairchance, Point Marion, Smithfield, as well as, German, Springhill, Georges and Nicholson Townships serving more than 3,400 students in 8 buildings.
In spite of our vast geographical size, we remain diligent to our Mission Statement as we continue to “partner with families and the community to inspire and support each student in reaching his or her optimal best.” As students are our greatest priority, we recognize each individual’s uniqueness and share the responsibility of providing them with an education that complements their learning needs and goals for the future with the possibility of employment in a global society.
The Albert Gallatin Board of Education in collaboration with administration, faculty, staff, students, parents and community realize that investing in our youth is investing in the community’s future. We place great value in the relationship established among all of our constituents. It is a shared responsibility and much of our focus is placed on maintaining this unified endeavor in the midst of the challenges we face daily.
We welcome you to visit our website and explore our offerings. Please feel free to contact our office if you should have any questions or would like to personally speak with a district administrator.
Again thank you,
